LATE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN BISQUE DOLLS

Here is a gorgeous antique bisque doll with wired limbs. Facial features and hair are painted on. There are no clothes in existance, although she has little mock ribbons (are they meant to be garters) around her ankles and the nimble fingured could have great fun dressing her! In a good played with condition. Remarkable that she is intact, considering her age! Has a 3 imprinted on back.

GERMAN BISQUE DOLLS c1920s/1930s

Here is a sweet bisque doll in a good played with condition. The white patch on the right side of her hair is just where some paint has been scraped off and is not damage to the bisque. Her arms and legs are wired and move. Her dress, I suspect, is not the original dress altough it looks old and is cutely made. Here features are painted on including her shoes.
Nice doll!

 c1920s Unusual Male Bisque German Doll @ £30.50
Here is a quite unusual wire jointed bisque German doll in so much as his costume (Arabian, Indian, Eastern European?) including a fixed turban (?) on his head. He has painted facial features and shoes however the lack of painted hair appears to have been deliberate so the costume and head gear is believed to be original. Both arms and legs move and he is in a good played with condition, albeit a little grubby.
Measures 3 1/4" in height.

GRECON DOLLS
 Vintage Little Girl Grecon Doll @ £24.50SOLD
This is a lovely little Grecon doll with wired limbs bound in wool, white painted lead feet, woollen hair, material dress and knickers plus drawn on facial features. There are also some tiny beads for embellishment on the felt collar.....absolutely delightful!
She stands at 21/4" high and is in a good played with condition, some paint loss on the shoes. She came with some 1930s-1950s dolls house furniture so exact age unknown but probably post war. There is no label.

This is a lovely little Grecon doll with wired limbs bound in wool, brown painted lead feet, woollen hair, material dress plus drawn on facial features. There is some contrasting orange wool embellishment for a collar....nice touch. Please note though that she is missing her knickers poor thing but could easily be solved by someone with nimble fingers! She certainly needs something to protect her modesty! However because of this, she is being sold for considerably less than the doll above. Otherwise she is in a good played with condition, some paint loss on the shoes.
